Women demand that trans women in public restrooms stop leaving the toilet seat up
With more and more public restroom facilities now allowing biological men in women’s restrooms, women are dealing with the frustrating problem of always entering the restroom and finding that someone has left the toilet seat up.
“We’re sick of it!” said one probably transphobic woman. “We women have to deal with this all the time at home with our husbands or boyfriends, and now this? What’s it going to take for you men, women, to stop leaving the toilet seat up?” she asked.
Some facilities had previously addressed this problem by taping up toilet seats, but then were told this was transphobic, as some trans women need to raise the toilet seat for unknown reasons that have nothing to do with physiology.
“This is a crisis,” Senator Chuck Schumer told reporters, “and one that can only be solved by far-reaching legislation.
“Rest assured that the Democratic Party is working on a solution to the toilet seat problem.”
Congress has promised to intervene in this crisis by enacting legislation that would require full-time restroom butlers to be paid a living wage to stay in women’s restrooms and lower toilet seats after each use.
