As soon as the teenager disappeared, local media interviewed Jamie Moore, the girl’s mother.

On that occasion the woman cried and said that “she was a happy child who would not have wanted me to worry”.

Favorably, on the night of Thursday, November 11, a subject found the girl after 15 days of disappearance.

At first the teenager denied her identity; but after police questioned her, she confirmed who she was and told part of her harsh reality.

In fact, it is a criminal complaint filed by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office against the mother that details the horrific allegations of abuse in the home.

Serious assaults

Part of the complaint is certain that Jamie Moore endangered the welfare of her daughter; “specifically by stabbing the victim in her shoulder, causing a laceration that is still visible.”

She further states that Moore mistreated the young girl by “spraying her eyes with bleach, ripping out her braids.

In addition to hitting her on the head with a frying pan, blue coat hangers and a broom handle.”

The document details a series of abuses and mistreatments against the 14-year-old minor, including repeated beatings.

As a result of these serious incidents, the teenager and her three-year-old brother were turned over to the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency.

Meanwhile, Jemie Moore was arrested and faces charges of physical abuse and neglect.
