Ukrainian man filmed trying to block Russian tank with his hands
The video was captured on the outskirts of Bakhmach, a town located roughly at the midpoint between Kiev and the Russian border.
It begins with the man lying face down on the front of the first tank as the convoy advances down a street.
He jumps out of the vehicle and, without taking his eyes off it, leans against the front with his arms outstretched until the tank comes to a complete stop.
The man then kneels on the ground and remains there for a few seconds until several people approach him from two directions.
Then, one person takes him a short distance away from the tank, while another person, who is also in front of the vehicle, stops it again.
Several people can be seen shouting and gesturing at the Russian troops, while others record the incident with their phones.
The tank driver then accelerates and the second person moves out of the way. The convoy passes through clouds of exhaust smoke.

The video was shared on social media on Saturday, the third day of the conflict unleashed by Russia after Vladimir Putin launched an invasion of Ukraine on Thursday.
Heavy street fighting has been reported in Kharkov, Ukraine’s second-largest city, after Russian troops overran the city in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Civilians are asked not to leave their homes.
Russian troops in Kharkov blew up a gas pipeline, according to Ukrainian officials who shared a video showing a fireball rising to form a large mushroom cloud.
