The Bridgertons take inspiration from the Kardashians.
The connection between Kim and the hit Netflix show reached a new level.
Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan recently tweeted that Kim Kardashian and her family were “a huge inspiration to the Featheringtons.”
Kim’s mouth dropped open.
“I’m freaking out !!!!!!,” Kim wrote.
And she said someone from a Bridgerton group chat she’s in sent her Coughlan’s tweet.
She quickly asked him if she could come over for a wardrobe fitting sometime.
Coughlan was fascinated by the proposition, evidently, and also revealed that corset maker Mr.
Pearl worked on Kim’s Met Gala corset.
“Oh my God, I’m going to faint!!!” she wrote. “Does this make me an honorary duchess in Bridgerton?!!!!!!!!!!? What a small world!”
Nicola confirmed that Kim’s Bridgerton name is “Duchess Kardashian of Calabasas” and that Lady Whistledown declares her “the true incomparable of the season.”
For now we should be on the lookout for a Kim Kardashian cameo in the second season of Bridgerton.
And, of course, a lot of strange things have happened…..
