Actor Chris Noth, known for his role as Mr. Big in the ‘Sex and the City’ series, among others, has been accused by two women of sexual assault.

The events allegedly occurred in 2004 and 2015, according to the testimony of the alleged victims, who do not know each other and who came to tell what happened separately and months apart to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor, 67, has admitted that he had sex with both of them and has also insisted that they were always consensual encounters for both parties.

The two women, Zoe, now 40, and Lily, 31 – both of whom used pseudonyms – claim that Noth abused them, forcing them to have sex in front of a mirror and against their will.

First assault in 2004

The first assault happened in Los Angeles in 2004.

Zoe, who works in the film industry, was 22 years old and Noth, 49.

According to the victim, she visited the actor’s house in West Hollywood to return a book that he had lent her during a previous encounter at a swimming pool.

Once in the house, she says, he began kissing her. When she tried to flee, he grabbed her and raped her from behind while she was in front of a mirror.

Second assault in 2015

The second aggression, occurred at Noth in Greenwich Village, New York, in 2015, after Lily, who is now a journalist and at the time was 25 years old, and Noth, who was 60, had a date.

The actor invited her home, to sample his whiskey collection. Once at home, when Noth tried to kiss her, she turned him down. That’s when, she recounts, he pulled down his pants and they had sex against the back of a chair in front of a mirror while she cried.

Both women claimed that the recently released sequel to ‘Sex and the City’ and the publicity Noth’s character has gained in recent weeks stirred up “painful memories” for her.

Noth responds: “it’s not always no”

For his part, Chris Noth has denied the facts. “The allegations against me made by people I knew years, even decades, ago are categorically false,” the actor has defended himself.

“These stories could have been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago, no always means no, that’s a line I didn’t cross. The encounters were consensual,” he sentenced.
