Texas mom’s disappearance linked to husband’s frantic actions

The case of Suzanne Simpson, a 51-year-old mother of four from Texas, has taken a disturbing turn as new evidence emerges regarding her husband’s actions leading up to her disappearance.

On October 6, Suzanne was last seen after a heated argument with her husband, Brad Simpson, 53. Reports indicate that the couple’s relationship had been tumultuous, with allegations of domestic violence surfacing in the days prior to her disappearance.

Urgent messages and suspicious behavior

Just a day before reporting his wife missing, Brad Simpson sent a frantic text message to his business partner, urging him to come to his home quickly to help hide a rifle. “If you’re in Bandera, can you haul ass to meet me at your house?” he reportedly wrote.

This alarming message raises questions about his involvement in Suzanne’s disappearance and suggests a possible attempt to conceal evidence.

In a follow-up message, Brad attempted to downplay the urgency, stating, “Sorry for the urgency but you’re all I got especially now… social media is destroying me.” This contradiction in his tone only adds to the suspicion surrounding his actions.

Domestic violence allegations

According to reports, Suzanne had called her mother shortly before her disappearance, claiming that Brad had physically assaulted her. She described injuries to her arm and back, which her mother, Barbara Clark, attributed to alcohol-related violence.

A neighbor also reported witnessing a confrontation between the couple, followed by screams coming from a wooded area near their San Antonio home.

Brad reported Suzanne missing on October 9, just days after their argument. However, his subsequent arrest on the same day for assault and unlawful restraint has raised eyebrows.

Authorities discovered that a firearm, previously recorded in a video of Brad’s gun vault, was missing from the home, prompting further investigation.

Evidence tampering and ongoing investigation

Authorities conducted a search of Brad’s business partner’s home, where they recovered the missing AK-47 with the assistance of an ATF K-9 team. The discovery of a string attached to the gun’s sight, designed for easy retrieval from a concealed location, suggests a deliberate effort to hide evidence. As a result, Brad Simpson faces additional charges, including tampering with evidence and illegal possession of a short-barreled rifle.

While Brad has not been charged with Suzanne’s disappearance, the investigation continues as authorities search landfills, wooded areas, and the couple’s home for any signs of her. The case has garnered significant media attention, highlighting the serious issues of domestic violence and the need for justice for Suzanne Simpson.
