A small Louisiana town is in shock after a local teacher and her police officer husband were arrested after the former served her students cupcakes topped with her husband’s sperm.

According to the local newspaper The Advocate, the events occurred in October, when Cynthia Perkins, 35, an English teacher at Westside Junior High School, served her students cupcakes topped with the bodily fluids of her husband, Dennis Perkins, 44.
The couple faces charges of rape, sexual battery, voyeurism, mixing harmful substances, obscenity and child pornography. In addition, in a separate case, both are facing animal molestation charges.
According to attorneys, the father of one of the affected students is suffering from severe depression that is preventing him from finding work. Another mother and her daughter are undergoing psychological treatment, with symptoms such as insomnia.
According to The Advocate, one of the students was photographed naked by the couple and there is also an explicit video of the minor.
The high school has also been charged with negligence.
