Opinions are divided by a restaurant for introducing a rule that will prohibit customers from eating if they smell like weed.
A restaurant ban any customer who smells of weed
Even though marijuana is legal in Michigan for people over the age of 21, the steakhouse Caucus Club in Detroit only wants high-end people to sit at its tables.
The restaurant has also asked people to dress appropriately for their restaurant.
On Facebook, Caucus Club said: “Seriously people, hoodies and jerseys are not business attire. Neither are ball caps, and sneakers. Most importantly, if you smell like marijuana don’t even think of stepping inside the Caucus Club.”
It added that business casual attire was the minimum clothing allowed in the restaurant and warned people not to wear ‘Strong’ smells.
Opinion seems to be divided about the rule, some support it and others say it is not fair to deny entry to people for what they do outside, but many people believe that it could be a thinly covered racism.
