In a shocking incident that highlights the dangers law enforcement faces, two men from the New York metropolitan area were arrested after their pit bulls attacked police officers during a raid on a suspected drug den in Webster, Massachusetts. The dogs, named “Salami Mami” and “Chocolate Chip,” mauled several officers, resulting in three being hospitalized.

On March 5, police executed a search warrant at Mr. Exotix’s snack shop, believed to be a hub for illegal drug sales. The operation was part of a broader investigation involving the FBI. As officers entered the establishment, they were met with unexpected resistance from the suspects inside.
In the chaos, the two pit bulls launched a vicious attack on the officers, leading to a harrowing scene captured on body cameras.
According to Webster Police Chief Michael Shaw, the incident escalated quickly. “What angers me more about this is the fact that this was a commercial establishment that was openly distributing narcotics,” he stated.

Injuries and charges
