A woman was locked up in a Lancaster County jail on $300,000 bail after the 31-year-old mother of three fed a 4-year-old boy hot sauce. The tortured child was the woman’s stepson.
Pennsylvania woman fed 4-year-old boy hot sauce and laxatives to a child
The mother of three was charged with eight felony counts of false imprisonment, child endangerment, unlawful restraint, harassment, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats.
After a concerned acquaintance reported the alleged abusive behavior to authorities, police began investigating, uncovering the hell a child was subjected to over a four-month period, but the child was not one of the mother’s three biological children.
The tortured child was Miller’s stepson, who was in the sole custody of Miller and his father.
That was apparently reason enough for the deranged stepmother to feed the four-year-old boy laxative-laden beans, which she called “poop beans,” lock him in a closet for hours and abuse him relentlessly and continuously for months.
Miller would often put the child in a locked closet on the third floor of his home. She would barricade him inside with a mattress and a dresser outside the closet door.
Danielle Miller also inflicted bruises, lacerations and burns on the child.
And law enforcement believes it was all because the stepmother resented the boy because she was abusing him because he was the son of her longtime boyfriend with another woman.
Unfortunately, his father, Nathan Duke, 30, did nothing to stop the abuse.
Nathan Duke was jailed on $100,000 bail and charged with conspiracy and endangerment charges for concealing the abuse and doing nothing to protect his son.
