Nicki Minaj who recently returned to social media, opens up about her father’s death and admits it was hard to cope with his loss.

After returning with new music, the rap queen wrote a letter to her fans on her official website addressing the “devastating loss” of her father, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in February.
Minaj admits it was difficult to struggle with the loss. “While I still can’t talk about my father’s passing, I can say that it has been the most devastating loss of my life,” she said.
“I find myself wanting to call him all the time.

He added, “I hope his soul rests in paradise he was dearly loved and is greatly missed.”
He also lamented DMX’s recent death.
“DMX’s passing I received it like a ton of bricks hitting me,” Nicki shared.
“His loss hurt me as much as the loss of a family member, I adored him. Blessings to his family.”
The new mother, last fall introduced her son, and is enjoying motherhood.
She revealed that her baby who affectionately calls her “Papa Bears,” loves to watch Madagascar and recently said “Mom.”

Minaj released her 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty to streaming services for the first time on Friday with three new songs including “See Green” featuring Drake and Lil Wayne.
He is now working on his fifth studio album.
