An unfortunate event occurred in Colorado, United States, when a newborn baby girl was left with a cut on her left cheek as a result of an emergency cesarean section, for which she had to undergo 13 stitches.

The family wants to take legal action for the hospital’s negligence and has started a campaign on Gofundme to raise funds for this purpose.

According to the international news portal KDVR, the parents of the newborn claimed that “they said our baby made a sudden movement, they couldn’t hear her heartbeat or find her heart and took her for an immediate C-section. They said her face was close to the placental wall.”

The girl’s grandfather lamented that the joy they should have had at that moment, was overshadowed by this terrible event.

“For your granddaughter to be born to come and see the plastic surgeon, to get 13 stitches, it’s devastating, it’s heartbreaking. I’ve never heard of anyone having to deal with their baby’s face looking like this after a C-section,” she closed.

The newborn had a cut on her left cheek from an emergency C-section, so she had to be taken to the plastic surgeon and they were able to close the wound with 13 stitches.

The newborn’s family was not very happy with the results and decided to take legal action against the hospital, claiming that “her face was close to the placental wall”, therefore those responsible for the delivery should have been more responsible for the delivery.
