Marilyn Manson to turn himself in to police on assault warrant
The arrest warrant issued May 25 charges Manson with two misdemeanor counts of simple assault related to an Aug. 18, 2019, incident.
Police said a camerawoman who was scheduled to film the concert was in the stage pit area when she was allegedly attacked, and stated that the incident was not sexual in nature.
Manson, his agent and legal counsel said in May, “have been aware of the warrant for some time and has made no effort to return to New Hampshire to respond to the pending charges.”
At the time, a lawyer representing Manson, called the lawsuit ridiculous in a statement to the New York Times.
Burpee said that if Manson turned himself in and went to the next few weeks, his initial court appearance in New Hampshire would likely be in mid-August.
Manson has faced multiple allegations of physical and sexual abuse, which he has denied.
