The father heard the child screaming after being hit by a car
The father of the minor started the vehicle and began to move forward with it when he heard a scream that he recognized and immediately got out of the car.
Outside was already his young son lying on the ground and seriously injured. The boy was rushed by helicopter so that he could be operated on as soon as possible, but his life was not saved and he died of his serious injuries.
The boy’s family is raising funds for the funeral
No charges have been filed against the father, although the police investigation is still continuing.
On the other hand, the little boy’s family, though unbidden by the parents, are raising funds to finance the boy’s funeral.
A GoFundMe page, created by Mateo’s cousin, Carolina Noriega, has raised almost 5,000 dollars to help the parents.
