Jaden Smith to open his own restaurant where homeless people get food
The son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith launched the I Love You food bus in July 2019 and it was designed to give free vegan food to homeless people.
It has since served thousands of people in the Los Angeles Skid Row and Harlem area of New York City and Jaden wants to continue the good times.
According to Variety, the concept of the new restaurant will be to encourage customers with money to give back.
Jaden said, “If you’re not homeless, not only do you have to pay, but you have to pay more of the food for the food so you can pay for the person behind it.”
The young musician Filantropo added that I Love You is: “for homeless people, they can get free food.
The same year he launched his food truck, he said he would help the city of Flint, Michigan with its drinking water crisis.
Jaden said he will use some of the profits from his unique venture to put filtration systems in the city.
Two years ago, Jada explained on her Facebook watch-show Red Table Talk: “Will and I had an intervention with Jaden because he is now vegan. He looked dehydrated, he was just depleted, he wasn’t taking in a lot of nutrients.
Will added: “There was even a little bit of gray in his skin. But he definitely looks better now.”
While there may be people who would chide this concern and tell them there was nothing to worry about, Jaden listened and changed his lifestyle.
Jaden explained that his lack of nutrition was due to skipping meals because he couldn’t be bothered to make them.
