In a shocking turn of events, a homicide has occurred in Vancouver’s Joyce-Collingwood neighborhood, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement. Around midnight on Saturday, officers from the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) were dispatched to a residence near Rupert Street and Euclid Avenue.

Upon arrival, they discovered a woman in her 20s who had tragically lost her life. Additionally, a man in his 20s was found with serious injuries and was promptly transported to the hospital for urgent medical care.

Suspect Arrested

The VPD has confirmed that a 46-year-old suspect, identified as Tenzin Choigey, has been charged with murder and aggravated assault.

Following his arrest, police assured the public that there is no ongoing threat, allowing residents to feel a sense of security amidst the chaos. Choigey remains in custody and is expected to appear in court on November 26, where further legal proceedings will unfold.
