The video of a wedding where the bride’s father invites his daughter’s stepfather to walk them down the aisle has gone viral on social networks. On TikTok the video has more than 5.5 million views and 1 million likes.

Through her TikTok account (@griffithk5), a woman posted a clip recorded on her wedding day, where she is seen walking down the aisle on her father’s arm.
When they were halfway down the aisle, the young woman’s dad surprised everyone by stopping and approaching his ex-wife’s current partner, to whom he extended a friendly hand and invited him so that between the two of them they could hand the bride down the aisle.
“My dad surprised my stepdad by including him in our walk down the aisle,” the bride wrote in the description of the video that was posted on September 30 of this year.

On TikTok this video has more than 5.5 million views, 1 million likes and around 13 thousand comments where users describe what happened as touching and celebrate the detail that the bride’s dad had.
