Despite the coronavirus pandemic, which has hit the film industry hard between 2020 and 2021, everything is finally ready for the 2021 Oscar Awards party.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic that has hit hard, everything is ready for the 93rd Oscars ceremony

In this unique and demanding year, the Academy is determined to present an Academy Awards ceremony as it could not be otherwise.

This Sunday, April 25, a new edition of these renowned awards will take place, broadcast from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, the usual home of the Oscars.

The awarding of the Academy’s popular golden statuette is by far the most prestigious event in American television.

Although it had an all-time low of 23 million in the last year, it is the most tuned space in its genre, after the Super Bowl.

Eight films are nominated for the Best Feature Film statuette at the 93rd Academy Film Awards:

  • Mank.
  • The Father.
  • Nomadland.
  • Judas and the Black Messiah.
  • Minari.
  • Sound of Metal
  • Young Promise
  • The Trial of the Chicago

These are the eight films that are nominated for the Best Picture statuette and it is likely to be a very close competition for the Academy Award

Moreover, as it does every year, TNT offers detailed coverage of the Oscars.

The ceremony is broadcast in Spanish on TNT and in English
