Craig also said, “A lot of people here worked with me on five films, and I know a lot of things have been said about what I think of these films. But I’ve loved every second of these films, and especially this one because I get to wake up every morning and have the opportunity to work with you guys. And that’s been one of the greatest honors of my life.”
During the speech, Craig begins to visibly tear up and wipes his eyes as the crew listens intently and then bursts into applause.
Craig first appeared in the role of Bond in 2006’s Casino Royale, so No Time to Die will end a 15-year stint as the character originally created by Ian Fleming.
No Time to Die finished filming before the onset of the covid-19 pandemic and has been pushed back from its original release date last April to September 30, 2021 in the UK.
