Actor Cillian Murphy takes aim with his shutterbug at his co-star Helen McCrory, who has sadly passed away at the age of 52.
“She was a talented, fearless and great actress. She enhanced and made human every scene and every character she played.”
“It was a privilege to have worked with this brilliant woman and to share so many split laughs over the years.”
“My love and thoughts are with Damien and his family.” Said the co-star of the Peaky Blinders series.
McCrory’s husband, actor Damien Lewis, broke the news of her death yesterday.
“God, we love them and we know how happy we should have been in our lives. Go now, little girl and fly through the air, thank you.”
The official Peaky Blinds Twitter account shared its own tribute after the message and a photo of McCrory as Polly Gray broke and wrote: “All our love and thoughts are with Helen’s family.”
Sam Neir, who also starred with McCrory in the crime drama Had, tweeted, “Goodbye.
I’m devastated my friend #helenmccrory died today. This brilliant woman was the best actress.”
