At a hearing Tuesday, CNN reports that the singer’s lawyer, Sam Ingham III, said they “now address the court directly.”

“The ward has requested that she petition the court for a status hearing in which she can address the court directly,” Richter said Brenda Penny. “My client has asked that it be done on an expedited basis.”
