A woman and two young children were tragically killed in a horrific horror accident between a lorry and a mobile home. The accident happened on the A64 in Ryedale, North Yorkshire, on Tuesday at around 8pm.

The three passengers in the caravan, a 44-year-old woman, a nine-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy, were all sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The fourth passenger, a six-year-old boy, was transported to the hospital with a serious head injury.
The driver of the motor home, a 48-year-old man, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the HGV was uninjured.
The tragedy led to the closure of the A64 for more than 10 hours between Barton-le-Willows and Flaxton.
It reopened at 6.45am on Wednesday.
Anyone who witnessed the accident or who has dashcam footage of the incident or was travelling in the area at the time should contact North Yorkshire Police .
A spokesman said, “The tragic incident happened at around 8pm near the Jinnah restaurant and involved a white heavy lorry and a grey motor home.
“Three of the passengers in the motor home, a 44-year-old woman, a nine-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy, were all sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“The fourth passenger, a six-year-old boy, was transported to the hospital with a serious head injury.
The driver of the motor home, a 48-year-old man, was transported to hospital with serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening.”
The road was closed between Barton le Willows and Flaxton for several hours while emergency services worked at the scene.
It reopened at 6:45 a.m.
