Austrian man is bitten by his neighbor’s python that somehow ended up inside his bathroom
Imagine: going to the bathroom first thing in the morning, still a bit groggy because his bladder woke him up in the middle of the REM cycle, sitting on the toilet to urinate and being bitten by a large and dangerous snake that was hanging inside the toilet bowl.
The 65-year-old victim “felt a ‘pinch’ in the genital area” shortly after sitting on the toilet in his Graz home shortly after 6 a.m., then looked into the toilet and discovered the albino reticulated python.
Luckily, pythons are non-venomous snakes, so a small bite won’t kill you.
Not only can these terrifying monsters grow up to 20 to 20 feet long, but they also love to eat mammals. Apparently, reticulated pythons can kill and swallow a human being.
The python in question apparently made its way into the man’s bathroom after escaping from a neighbor’s apartment.
The snake’s owner, a 24-year-old man, allegedly had “11 non-venomous constrictor snakes and a gecko.”
The neighbor is being investigated on charges of negligently causing bodily injury, which seems about right.
