Ashley Benson has lived in the spotlight for much of her life, but somehow she manages to keep much of her personal life completely under wraps.
You’ll very rarely catch the Pretty Little Liars alum making headlines for things she said about her significant other, and oftentimes she won’t even clear up hurtful gossip.
Even when there were rumors that Ashley Benson cheated on her ex, she kept quiet – and in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK, she says she prefers to keep it that way.
“If the gossip comes out and stories are completely wrong, what can you do? People can say what they want about me, but if you don’t know me, you don’t know anything at all.”
Regarding her relationships, Ashley Benson says she prefers to keep things “private” because “it’s more sacred that way”.
“These private moments are for you and your partner and I think it’s best not to be overexposed and you can really protect your relationship if you don’t take advantage of them,” she said.

And while she “can’t help it” when photographed with her significant other, she does her best to avoid the paparazzi.
“I can’t leave my house without being followed every day. I don’t want photos and it’s annoying.
It’s a total invasion of privacy … [In LA] they will harass you and keep following you until you’re in a car accident, “said Ashley.
Prior to her recent split from G-Eazy, Ashley Benson said the couple spent a lot of time at home during the pandemic, which seemed to help them avoid being photographed as often.
The couple had “jazz nights” and even recorded their own music that was only for them, not the public.
“We did 30 songs! That was really nice because if you don’t have to go anywhere, it’s really nice to make something out of it …
We always talk about whether we would release something or not. That too is really nice for us,” explained Ashley Benson.
