You’d imagine that if anyone in the world isn’t afraid of anything, it would be the absolute unit that is Arnold Schwarzenegger – who, it turns out, isn’t even afraid of dying.
Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t afraid of death, it just “f***” him up
Appearing on The Howard Stern Show in 2019 while promoting Terminator: Dark Fate, Arnie went on to talk about death…. As he does.
Stern asked the movie star, “Are you afraid of death?”
Schwarzenegger replied, “I’m not afraid of death, it just bothers me.”
I know, it sounds like a line straight out of one of his movies.
Schwarzenegger added, “Especially, I think, when you have a life like we have, and one day it’s over. “I mean, that really f**ks me up.”
Moving on to the equally light-hearted topic of life after death, Stern asked the actor what he believed happens when we die.
Schwarzenegger responded bluntly, “The truth is, you’re six feet under. And we’re going to rot there.”
Putting a little more optimism into the interview he continued, “I hope there’s a life after this.”
“I’m not going to sit, after we’re dead, we’re not going to sit here like this and do interviews and have a good time and have a good laugh.
“Maybe there will be angels sitting around, maybe there will be God there slapping us every time we say a four-letter word or something.
“I’m really angry about it. I’m furious about it.”
Fortunately, Schwarzenegger, 73, has already been vaccinated against the coronavirus, which, hopefully, should keep the Grim Reaper at bay for a little while longer.
