As Manchester remembers the dead on the fourth anniversary of the atrocity, Ariana took to Instagram to pay tribute.
“While the pain is ever present and our relationship with it is constantly evolving and expressed in different ways every day, all year long … I know this anniversary will never be easy,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.
“Manchester, my heart goes out to you today and always.”
The 27-year-old singer also included the names of the victims below a heart-shaped bee symbol, which came to symbolize Manchester’s resilience after the attack.
The blast killed 22 innocent people, mostly women and children, and left hundreds injured.
Just two weeks later, Ariana returned to the city for the One Love Manchester benefit concert for the families of those affected.
More than 50,000 people flocked to the Old Trafford cricket ground to see stars such as Justin Bieber, Coldplay and Liam Gallagher perform.
The cathedral bells will ring tonight at 22:31, the exact time the bomb went off, as will those of St. Anne’s Church in St. Anne’s Square, which became a sea of flowers and tributes in the days after the attack.
Suicide bomber Salman Abedi was killed when he detonated the bomb that claimed 22 lives.
His brother, Hashem Abedi, is serving a minimum of 55 years behind bars for his role in helping his brother prepare the bombing.
