A-Rod is apparently as surprised as the rest of the world, Jennifer Lopez, his fiancée until last month, has apparently rekindled her romance with ex Ben Affleck.
While “Bennifer” hasn’t confirmed that they’re back together, they took a solo trip to Montana last week, with photos to prove it, and a source told People magazine, “She had a great time with Ben. She’s happy with him and enjoys spending time with him.”
Just before his big date with Big Sky, Affleck had been photographed going to Jennifer Lopez’s house in Los Angeles.
Affleck’s best friend, Matt Damon, is excited about the reunion 17 years after they called off their wedding.
Rodriguez is apparently less enthusiastic.
A source close to Lopez said, “A-Rod is surprised that J.LO has moved on.” After they announced on April 15 that they were ending their engagement.
“He really thought they could make it work and reconnect. He’s been in contact with J.Lo trying to get together with her and she’s been very short with him.”
The source claimed that the former New York Yankee is very “sad “” that Lopez is back with Affleck, and claimed that he contacted her to let her know that “he’s upset.”
However, the source added, “She’s not interested in having anything to rescind anything with A-Rod.”
A rep for Rodriguez did not immediately respond to Yahoo Entertainment’s request for comment on the report.
The last time A-Rod was spotted, he was leaving a restaurant in Miami and was asked by paparazzi what he thought about Bennifer and her trip to Montana. “Go Yankees,” he replied.
