A Tiktok user has shared the moment she was interviewed on the news after smoking a joint at 7am, and had a slightly bizarre Vox-pop about the importance of the charity.
Nyesia Lewis (@PilotjonesssssSSSSSSSSSs) was interviewed by Detroit’s 7 Action News about a Counted Hayride’s Haunded Hountride, which was cancelled due to parking fees in Brownstown Township, Michigan.
In the clip he says, “A charity is a charity.”
His Tiktok video was viewed more than 960,000 times and has more than 150,000 likes.
Another person joked, “If you try to reach the word in rehearsal.”
A third place I think: “Guys, I think the charity organization might be the charity.”
Another added: “The charity organization is Def charity increase.”
The Hayride Spirits was organized by Braunkstown Firefighters and all proceeds lead to the charity.
Due to the new park management and directive, a daily parking pass would be required for entry.
The Clinton Huron Metropolitan Authority (HCMA) has waived the parking entrance fee for the past 20 years.
Other residents were able to be a bit stringent about their frustrations.
One of them was Danielle Napper, who said on the way out, “The money is in charity. We support the city and its foundations, I think they should cancel.” she added.
