A woman and her dog dragged down the street in a car after attacking the thieves who stole her purse
In a post on the Houston Police Twitter account about robberies, a woman, who has not been named, was walking down a Houston street with her Dalmatian when an armed man approached and demanded that she hand over her purse last month.
The woman was pushed by the suspect’s car after her purse was stolen and attempted to climb into the back to retrieve it, while holding her dog’s leash.
The man was later arrested in the parking lot of a gas station in Valero.
The video captured the moment she crossed the sidewalk and the suspect appeared behind her a few moments later. When the suspect threatened her with a gun, she started screaming, “Oh my God!”.
The guy then snatched her purse and fled, with the woman and her dog behind him in an attempt to retrieve her stolen property.
The woman opens the rear passenger door and the suspect runs toward her vehicle.
