Raffaela Weyman, took to her page to talk about her terrifying experience of how she got high after inhaling the scent of a seemingly harmless yellow flower

When Weyman and her friend finally arrived at another friend’s birthday celebration, they both felt “really bad and had to leave.”

Things got even scarier

“When I got home and fell asleep, I had the craziest dreams and experienced sleep paralysis for the first time in my life,” she said. It turns out the flower is super poisonous, and we accidentally got high like idiots,” Weyman continued.

The flower in question is called Angel’s Trumpet, which is highly poisonous, including the leaves, flowers, seeds and roots. Some people even recognized the “angelic” flower and didn’t hesitate to comment.

Someone commented on how creepy it is that some Southern California homes have this plant, saying, “It’s crazy how many homes in SoCal have this plant chilling in their yards!”

The flower comes from a drug called burundanga, also known as ‘Devil’s Breath’.

It is a hallucinogen and can be a deadly narcotic.

The thing about burundanga is that it virtually eliminates your free will, so you’re awake and articulate.

To anyone else watching you, you look perfectly fine, but you’ve completely lost control of your own actions, so you’re at the mercy of suggestions, and that’s how people take advantage of you.

Because the drug makes it easier to control others, it is also used to commit robberies and assaults in South American countries such as Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador.
