A teacher corrupts the innocence of first graders by teaching them about masturbation
A sex education instructor is at a New York high school after teaching first graders about masturbation.
The New York Times reported that the “sex-positive” teacher, Justine Ang Fonte, resigned in June due to parental outrage.
Apparently, some wealthy New Yorkers are still sane enough to oppose this type of material in first grade classrooms.
This is disgusting but, sadly, not surprising. Fonte defends his sick lesson in the name of preventing child sexual abuse.
“I gave kids a way to exercise bodily agency and consent, knowing exactly what those body parts are, what they’re called and how to take care of them,” he told The Times.
“That was combined with lessons on what are the different ways to say ‘no.’ And why you should never have a secret between you and an adult. Because it’s never your responsibility as a child to keep a secret or information from an adult.”
According to the New York Post, Fonte has also been criticized for giving a presentation to high school students called “Porn Literacy: An Intersectional Approach to Mainstream Pornography.”
The presentation covered such genres of pornography as “incest-themed,” “barely legal,” and torture. Fonte now plans to write books for children, according to the media outlet.
Not so long ago, showing garbage like this to innocent children would have been properly considered child abuse.
