A mother has hit back after trolls told her she shouldn’t smoke weed while having children. It’s clearly an issue she’s dealt with a lot.

The Vancouver-based influencer often shares photos of her lifestyle, as well as posts about motherhood, mental health and – you guessed it – smoking cannabis.

Obviously, not everyone approves of her lifestyle.

In a recent video, she addressed the judgment some people have passed on her for having children and smoking marijuana. The 27-year-old went on a rant to her 458,000 Instagram followers, “Is anyone else tired of hearing about this?”

In the caption above the video, she had written, “When someone says ‘you can’t smoke w33d if you’re a mom!”.

In a nutshell, the video shows the mother grinding what is presumably weed in a hand grinder while the audio says, “Lalalala shh, living my life.”

It’s clear what she means, and many have chimed in – pun fully intended – in the comments to praise her for speaking out.

One person wrote: “Yassssssssssssss amen. I’m tired of this huge stigma, even though wine is not as frowned upon as weed. Fuck it.”

Another person said, “Yeah, especially when the same people who judge are the ones who get drunk on wine most nights lol.”

There is a clear problem here, and maybe they are right.

Alcohol is completely legal and many people say they drink quite a bit even if they have kids.

Why not do the same with another completely legal substance in your country?
