A man drugged his two young daughters, killed them and then dumped their bodies in the sea
Tomas Gimeno, who is related to his two young daughters, killed them and then exposed their bodies to the sea to take revenge on his ex-wife.
The body of 6-year-old Olivia Gameno was found in a bag tied to an anchor about 1,000 meters off an area near the Canary Islands.
Another similar bag was found nearby, but it was empty. The search for the body of her sister Ana, age 1, continues.
The father, Tomás Gameno, is missing and Spanish police are trying to find him.
The girls’ mother, Beatriz Zimmerman, is divorced from Gimeno. He reportedly told her he would never see the girls again.
Zimmerman told reporters that she believes her daughters’ father ran his life without suffering his daughters.
According to reports, he recently began a relationship with a new wealthy partner.
Gimeno and the girls disappeared on April 27 on Tenerife, the largest island in the West African archipelago.
Investigators launched an exhaustive search by land and sea, but were limited to the waters off Tenerife after Gameno’s boat was left empty and at sea
Interpol also joined the search, releasing photographs of the two girls and issuing so-called “yellow notices” aimed at locating missing persons.
