A group of bullies beat a 12-year-old boy with special needs

Rayden Overbay, a 12-year-old boy with autism in Yukon, Oklahoma, has faced relentless bullying, and at least two of the brutal beatings he suffered were captured on video.

One took place on a Thursday after school and another occurred the next day in the school bathroom.

According to the boy’s mother, the two incidents are unrelated and occur within 24 hours of each other.

In the second video captured the next day, a different person hits Rayden in the school bathroom. According to authorities, he did not even fight back.

The cruel videos circulated on social media, but Rayden’s torturers didn’t get the reaction they probably expected.

When the images went viral, most expressed outrage and some went so far as to threaten to kill his attackers.

Rayden’s father, Danny Overbay, demanded an end to the harassment.

“Whether it’s my son or someone else’s son or daughter, it has to stop. it has to stop no matter what,” he said. Many others agreed with Rayden’s father and expressed their support for Rayden.

Because a couple of people or a few people decided to videotape it because they thought it was funny, that’s the only reason I’m sitting in front of you today.

“Some of those guys claim to be friends with my son, and that’s so hard for a father, that’s the only reason I’m sitting in front of you today,” Danny said, breaking down in tears.
