Two-year-old boy dies after being accidentally run over by father
The little boy, identified as Bayron Alexander Zapata, died after being accidentally run over by his own father in a house located in the Roma Street sector, reports Telemundo.
According to preliminary information, the child’s father was driving his pickup truck in reverse at around 6:30 p.m. on Monday when he suddenly “discovered that his son had been hit by the vehicle”.
“Please take care of your children”
The father referred to this fatal event and explained that everything was the product of an oversight: “I put him inside and told him to stay inside and he told me ‘ok daddy’, but I did not realize when he came back out”.
Once the serious episode occurred, the man indicated that “it was already too late when the truka happened later…. Please take care of your children”.

Kelly Castillo, the mother, explained that hours before they had been out for a walk: “Just on Sunday we went to a river to spend the whole day with him as a family”.
According to the above, Iris Zapata, the boy’s aunt, revealed his personality and said that “he was very happy? And if you were here, he would say ‘why are you so serious, I came to play with you'”.
Odilia Gudiel, Bayron’s grandmother, made an important appeal to the families so that this situation does not happen again.
“I tell parents to take care of their children with the least…. Don’t neglect your children. If necessary, lock the doors if they are going out, but do not neglect them,” he said.
